The ‘Wonder Years’ stole the hearts of audiences when it premiered in 1988. The sitcom, taking place in the 60s and 70s, told the story of an American middle-class family struggling with the cultural changes happening around them. The show starred Fred Savage as the main lead, Kevin Arnold, and the cast included Dan Lauria as his father Jack, Alley Mills as his mother Norma, Jason Hervey as his brother Wayne, Olivia d’Abo as his sister Karen, Josh Saviano as his best friend Paul Pfeiffer, and Danica McKellar as his girlfriend Winnie Cooper. The show was even narrated by ‘Home Alone’ star by Daniel Stern!

The show was honored with the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1988 and Savage, who was 13 years old at the time, became the youngest actor ever nominated as Outstanding Lead Actor for a Comedy Series.
